Digital Rights Management (DRM) refers to technologies used by publishers or copyright holders to control access to or usage of digital data or hardware, as well as to restrictions associated with specific instances of digital works or devices.
DRM does not refer to specific technologies that control or restrict the use and access of digital content on electronic devices. Such technologies are component of a DRM system used to deliver integrated DRM.
FIRST allows you to record DRM details that restrict or control access to digital information linked to Catalogue, Order and Patron records.

For Links where user names and passwords for individual users are stored, these can be catalogued in the grid. The magnifying glass icon in the Account field performs a lookup of all Patron records. If you wish to link a login with a specified patron record, then enter part of the patron’s User ID in the Account field, then click the magnifying glass icon. Alternatively, click the magnifying glass icon when the Account field is empty, to view a complete list of all patron records. Double click on the Patron record to select, and this will place the User ID into the Account field. Doing this will create a link with the Patron record, and the B.User Name and B.Position fields will be populated from the Patron record.
